It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of one of our own, Stacy Gayle Ross of Denmark, Louisiana. Stacy was the beloved wife of our Fire Chief, Todd Ross, and a founding member of our department’s Auxiliary. Her presence, dedication, and unwavering support played a vital role in shaping the strength and spirit of our fire family.
From the very beginning, Stacy gave selflessly of her time and energy. She stood beside us not only in moments of celebration, but also through challenges, always offering encouragement, compassion, and a steady hand. Her commitment to the Auxiliary reflected her deep love for this department and the people within it. She was more than a supporter—she was an integral part of our team, a friend to many, and a source of warmth and kindness that will never be forgotten.
Words cannot fully capture the impact Stacy had on all of us or the depth of the loss we feel. Her legacy lives on in the bonds she helped build and the lives she touched so meaningfully. She will be deeply missed by every member of this department and by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
During this incredibly difficult time, we ask that you keep Todd, her daughters, and the entire Ross family in your thoughts and prayers. Please also remember her many friends whose lives were brightened by her presence. May we honor Stacy’s memory by continuing to support one another with the same generosity and compassion that she so effortlessly gave to us all.
